  • The Peak District National Park, located at the heart of England, is a stunning expanse of natural beauty and one of the most beloved national parks in the UK.     For Muslim Family Adventures, the Peak District is a perfect fit. Its vast, open spaces provide a tranquil environment for spiritual reflection and connection with nature. The park's numerous family-friendly trails and activities ensure that everyone, from young children to adults, can participate and enjoy. The region's welcoming atmosphere, coupled with facilities that cater to diverse dietary and cultural needs, makes it easy for Muslim families to feel at home. Whether it's hiking through the lush valleys, picnicking by a tranquil stream, or simply taking in the breathtaking views, the Peak District offers endless opportunities for bonding, learning, and rejuvenation. This makes it an ideal backdrop for our adventures, fostering growth, community, and a deeper appreciation for the natural world.

  • Originally built around the middle of the last century, this centre provides high standard accommodation and is the perfect base for those looking to discover the Peak District, one of the best walking centres in the country.

    It comes with a fully fitted kitchen with cookers, fridge, freezers, microwave, crockery and utensils. The centre has rooms of various sizes with single bunk-beds and ensuite (toilet/shower in the room) or regular (sink in the room) facilities.

    The centre is exclusively hired by MFA and the facilities will only be used by us.

    Please note the planned programme is flexible. Guests are free to choose the activities they would like to participate in. They can also choose to do their own thing if they like.

  • As a guide, it costs around £160 per parent (or individual adult) and £120 per child for the adventure. Infants 0-5 years go for free, provided they share a bed with a sibling or a parent. There is an additional charge of £80 per room for ensuite facilities. Bookings are for the full adventure (5 days, 4 nights) only. We have introductory, promotional and “large-family” discounts from time to time. So please fill the form below to get a custom price for the adventure.

    The adventure includes:

    • Accommodation in a clean and conveniently located hostel for 4 nights. All bed linen is provided but please bring your own towel and toiletries.

    • Self-catering kitchens with hobs, ovens, fridge, freezer, microwaves, pots. cutlery and crockery

    • Dining rooms and common rooms with several sitting areas for adults and children

    • Communal prayer areas for both men and women

    • Beautiful landscaped grounds outside with seating areas, shelters and wildlife area

    • Games room with table football, table tennis, pool table and board games

    • Detailed programme/itinerary of places to visit and activities for each day

    • Arrangement and coordination of general adventure activities (there is no additional charge for this)

    • Arrangement of instructor-led adventure activities with a group booking discount

    • Workshops and indoor group activities

    • Free guest WIFI access throughout the stay (often there is no phone signal)

    • Private Telegram group to keep guests updated

    • Healthy socialisation and group activities with like-minded Muslim families and friends

    • Safe, secure and Muslim environment for adults and children

    • Advice, support and tour guidance

    • Motivational talks, presentations and Islamic reminders

    The adventure does not include:

    • Transport (please make your own way to the centre)

    • Food (it is self catering or externally arranged through caterers)

    • Payment for optional instructor-led adventure activities

    • Payment for optional hiring of equipment (if required, for example mountain bikes or motor boats)

  • It is self-catering, but certain arrangements will be made for the convenience of the guests.

    Groceries: There will be arrangements made to order groceries as a group for those who wish, costing about £1 per person per day. These will include basic supplies such as bread, milk, eggs, butter/spreads, tea, coffee, sugar and fruits (apples, bananas and mandarins).

    Breakfast and Lunch: There may be volunteers helping to make breakfast and packed lunch.

    Dinner: Dinner may be externally arranged for those who wish at a reasonable price. Alternatively, guests can bring pre-cooked food and store then in the fridge/freezer, or bring ingredients to cook at the hostel, or manage with a combination of the above.

    Kitchen Facilities: There is a fully fitted industrial kitchen with all facilities, sufficient for everyone. All pots, pans, utensils, cutlery and crockery are provided.
