Pembrokeshire Dale Fort Adventure Retreat 2025

  • Welcome to the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, where new adventures are waiting. The park spans 240 spectacular square miles and is world-famous for its dazzling beaches, weather-worn cliffs, and secret coves jewelled with rock pools. The park is also home to several islands with unique wildlife habitats, offering endless opportunities to enjoy the great outdoors. Whether you are a walker, surfer, kayaker, or sailor, the crinkled coast of Pembrokeshire provides the perfect setting for your favourite activities.

National Geographic Traveller magazine in the US recently rated the Pembrokeshire Coast as one of the top two coastal destinations in the world, and it's easy to see why. The park's stunning combination of land, sea, and sky makes it a haven for outdoor enthusiasts. Visitors can explore the park's many hiking trails, enjoy water sports, or take a boat tour to get a closer look at the marine life. With so much to see and do, it's no wonder visitors keep returning to Pembrokeshire year after year.

  • Dale Fort Centre is set in a spectacular location high on the cliffs within the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, giving superb views over the sea. Built in 1856 to defend the Milford Haven waterway against invasion, it has been a field centre since 1948. For many visitors staying in a 150 year old historic Fortress is exciting.

It comes with a fully fitted kitchen with gas industrial cookers, dishwasher, fridge, freezers, microwave, crockery and utensils. The centre has rooms of various sizes with single bunk-beds and ensuite (toilet/shower in the room) or regular (sink in the room) facilities.

The centre is exclusively hired by MFA and the facilities will only be used by us.

  • The Pembrokeshire Dale Fort Adventure Retreat is thoughtfully priced to make it accessible for families: £190 per parent/adult and £150 per child. Infants under 5 join for free (sharing a bed with a parent or sibling). Extras include £80 per room for en-suite facilities and £24.50 per person (over 5) for communal food arrangements. We also offer discounts for larger families and seasonal promotions—please submit the form below for a tailored quote.

Your investment covers a comprehensive package, including clean hostel accommodation with self-catering facilities, a detailed adventure programme, Islamic reminders, family-friendly activities, and a safe, vibrant Muslim community environment.

Not included: transport, optional instructor-led activities, or equipment hire.

  • At the heart of the adventure-retreat is communal self-catering, where everyone comes together to prepare and enjoy meals as one big family. MFA will provide fresh, organic, and local ingredients wherever possible, and the group will prepare breakfast, lunch, and dinner. This shared experience is about more than food—it’s about bonding, sharing skills, and creating unforgettable memories.

    Breakfast

We will prepare nourishing breakfasts on Days 2, 3, 4, and 5, including eggs, tuna, cheese, beans, bread, cereals, spreads, fruits, and hot drinks.

    Lunch

Each family will prepare their own packed lunches using the provided groceries or their own supplies.

    Dinner

Adults will work in teams to prepare themed dinners on Days 2, 3, and 4:

    Day 2: Asian-inspired lamb dishes

    Day 3: Arab-inspired chicken dishes

    Day 4: Italian-inspired beef dishes

Families will handle their own dinner on Day 1.

    Refreshments

Tea, coffee, and hot chocolate will be available throughout your stay.

    Kitchen Facilities

The fully equipped industrial kitchen comes with all the essentials—pots, pans, utensils, cutlery, and crockery—ensuring a smooth cooking experience for everyone.

The cost is £24.50 per person (over 5) for communal food arrangements.
