Malham Tarn Centre is based around an impressive Georgian fishing lodge situated on the northern shore of Malham Tarn (Lake) and surrounded by the 147-hectare Malham Tarn National Nature Reserve. The reserve and the centre's buildings are owned and managed by the National Trust. It comes with a fully fitted kitchen for self-catering, with gas industrial cookers, dishwasher, fridges, freezers, microwave, crockery and utensils. Outside you will find a courtyard, veranda and picnic benches, a lawn and walled garden. The centre has spectacular views across Malham Tarn and gives visitors a wonderful sense of remoteness. The area has some fantastic walking with the Pennine Way and the Dales High Way on the doorstep. The centre has rooms of various sizes with single bunk-beds and ensuite (toilet/shower in the room) or regular (sink in the room) facilities.
