It’s time to prioritise our health, strength, and connection to Allah through mindful movement! Join Sister Naweeda for the Muslimah Pilates 10-week block starting Tuesday, 26th November 2024. Designed for sisters of all fitness levels, these online Zoom sessions on Tuesdays at 9:30 am provide a space to explore the body Allah has blessed us with.

Through targeted exercises, you’ll improve posture, strengthen your core, relieve back pain, and increase flexibility. This isn’t just about fitness—it’s about understanding the purpose of our bodies and how they aid us in salah and daily life. Sister Naweeda, an experienced instructor with 13 years of expertise, weaves spiritual, physical and emotional development seamlessly into the sessions, making it a holistic experience.

Each class, held on Zoom, offers clear instruction as Sister Naweeda gently guides you through every movement with her camera on, while participant cameras remain off for privacy. With no music, tailored moves, and a safe, comfortable space, these sessions aim to build stronger, healthier Muslimahs for stronger families and communities, Insha’Allah.

Sister Naweeda, who has led Pilates sessions at our MFA adventures in Wales and Devon, brings a teaching style and ethos that perfectly aligns with our mission of promoting great health, building confidence, push boundaries and connecting with Allah through physical movement. With 13 years of experience as a certified Pilates instructor, training with Polestar Pilates UK, and running her pilates studio in Buckinghamshire, Sister Naweeda will guide you through key Pilates principles such as breathing, core control, and postural alignment. The course will help improve mobility, core stability, muscle strength, and flexibility while addressing common issues like back pain, sciatica, tight shoulders, low energy levels, high stress levels, and weak cores.
