South Devon Dartmoor Adventure [concluded]


With unspoilt coast and countryside all around, the landscape of South Devon is the perfect backdrop for a relaxing escape or to get your pulse racing with amazing adventures. With 3 Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty, a World Heritage Coast, the Dartmoor National Park, over 125 miles of stunning coastline, acres of unspoilt countryside, two vibrant cities and an amazing mixture of coastal and rural towns and villages, South Devon encompasses the very best the country has to offer. It has some of the UK’s best beaches, with breathtaking sandy expanses, stunning secluded coves, rugged historic cliffs and lively coastal resorts. It is an adventurers paradise and the perfect destination for an action packed break.

Accommodation - Hostel

Slapton Ley Centre is located within the South Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty close to the Dartmoor National Park. The centre is located within landscaped grounds with seating areas, shelters, kitchen garden and wildlife areas. The centre adjoins the 210 hectare National Nature Reserve that includes the 4km long Slapton Sands beach and the largest freshwater lake in the South West. It comes with a fully fitted kitchen with gas industrial cookers, dishwasher, fridge, freezers, microwave, crockery and utensils etc. The accommodation is spread over 3 sites close to each other, each with its own self catering facilities. The centre has rooms of various sizes with single bunk-beds and ensuite (toilet/shower in the room) or regular (sink in the room) facilities. The centre is exclusively hired by MFA and the facilities will only be used by us.

Adventure Cost/Investment

As a guide, it costs around £100-£140 per person for the whole adventure, depending on the number of people in the family. There may also be introductory and promotional discounts from time to time. So please fill the form below to get a custom price for the adventure.

The adventure includes:

  • Accommodation in a clean and conveniently located hostel for 4 nights. All bed linen is provided but please bring your own towel and toiletries

  • Self-catering kitchens with hobs, ovens, fridge, freezer, microwaves, pots. cutlery and crockery

  • Dining rooms and common rooms with several sitting areas for adults and children

  • Communal prayer areas for both men and women

  • Beautiful landscaped grounds outside with seating areas, shelters and wildlife area

  • Games room with pool table, football table, and table tennis table

  • Detailed programme/itinerary of places to visit and activities for each day

  • Arrangement and coordination of general adventure activities (there is no additional charge for this)

  • Arrangement of instructor-led adventure activities with a group booking discount (there is an additional charge for instructors and equipment, usually £20-£40 per person for a half-day activity)

  • Workshops and indoor group activities

  • Free guest WIFI access throughout the stay (often there is no phone signal)

  • Private Telegram group to keep guests updated

  • Healthy socialisation and group activities with like-minded Muslim families and friends

  • Safe, secure and Muslim environment for adults and children

  • Advice, support and tour guidance

  • Motivational talks and presentations

The adventure does not include:

  • Transport

  • Food (it is self catering)
